Token commemorating the Jubilee of the Ancient Order of Shepherds' Friendly Society which was quite prominent in Chorley in the late 1800's and early 1900's; this is dated 1894. The Shepherds' Hall still stands on Chapel Street in Chorley.

plate 210mm diameter with border of flowers. In centre a picture of St peter's Church. On back is written Foundation stone laid Wednesday 5 September 1849. Consecrated St Mark's Day April 25 1851. Architect Charles Reed Esq. The first restoration was in 1866 and subsequently again in1986/89, ata cost of £60000, generously donated by the parishioners and friends of this parish.
