Buckshaw Then and Now Exhibition

The Chorley Heritage Centre are to reopen their "Buckshaw Then & Now" exhibition that was previously displayed in Astley Farmhouse back in 2016. Buckshaw Then and Now follows the development of the Buckshaw area through its farming past and its use as the site of the Royal Ordnance factory to the present Buckshaw Village. Artist Martin O'Connor and members of the Chorley Heritage Group assisted with the original project and greatly valued the opportunity to work with the local school, and the enormous amount of work done by the staff and the children in bringing the project to life. This time it will be displayed at Chorley Central Library on Union Street during February 2020.
